GENERAL
How do I book a stay in Kleinow?
Simply click on Book and you’re all set. If you have any questions, just drop us an email, we’re happy to help.
What’s the best way to get there?
By car is the easiest. There’s also a train to Prenzlau. Under Contact & Arrival in the menu you’ll find all the details.
Is Kleinow family-friendly?
Absolutely! There’s plenty of space to run, play, and explore – from open meadows to the forest. And our animals love having little visitors, too.
Is the property accessible?
Some parts like the manor house are easy to access, but others, like the wagons or yurts, unfortunately aren’t. If you’re unsure, just reach out and we’ll gladly advise.
Can I bring my pet?
Please check with us first, in some cases it’s possible. Since our own animals roam freely, we decide individually what works best.
Can I go horseback riding?
Yes! Experienced riders are welcome to arrange rides with us. Riding lessons are also possible with a little advance notice, lots can be arranged if we have time to plan.
What if the weather turns bad?
Kleinow is magical in any weather. There are sheltered areas, cozy spots in the manor house and sometimes a summer rain shower makes the experience even more special.
How can I cancel my booking?
You’ll find all the details in our cancellation policy at the bottom of the website.
SANITATION & SUSTAINABILITY
How are the toilets and showers equipped?
Simple but well thought out: Most accommodations have outdoor showers with refreshing cold water, perfect after a warm summer’s day. Toilets are eco-friendly compost toilets and part of our sustainability concept.
How does waste separation work?
We like to keep things tidy, even with the trash. That’s why we separate it into paper, plastic, organic waste, and residual waste. Please help us by sorting your rubbish accordingly. You’ll find labeled bins in the manor house (inside) and in front of the barn. Organic waste can go straight to the compost in the Magic Garden because it’s perfect for veggie scraps & co.
Is there drinking water on site?
When you arrive, a 20-liter carafe of fresh water will be waiting for you. The running water in the accommodations comes from our own well. It’s clean groundwater, but not officially classified as drinking water. If you need more drinking water, just stop by the manor house with your carafe to refill anytime.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes, curiosity, and a love for nature. We provide bed linen and towels, but for adventures, classics like rubber boots or a flashlight are best packed by you.
Is there Wi-Fi on site?
Not everywhere – and that’s on purpose. We invite you to truly switch off. There’s internet in the manor house, but in the accommodations it’s digital detox time.
Is there electricity in the accommodations?
Yes, you’ll have electricity, lights, and a place to charge your phone. Still, we hope you’ll use the chance to recharge your own batteries out in nature instead.
Are there keys or lockers?
Nope. We believe in trust over locks. There are no keys and no lockers. We recommend leaving valuables at home, or just hiding them in the sock drawer of your accommodation.
FOOD & SHOPPING
Is food provided on site?
At the moment, not on a regular basis but there’s a large communal kitchen and several options for self-catering.
Are there shops nearby?
Not in Kleinow itself, here it’s pure nature. The nearest supermarkets are in Gramzow (9.5 km) or Prenzlau (15 km). Best to bring the essentials with you or combine a trip to town with a little shopping.

Can groups rent the grounds?
Yes, absolutely! Whether it’s a retreat, workshop, or family weekend – we have the space and the experience to host groups. Just send us a few details, and we’ll figure out what’s possible together.
